Exchanges & Returns
Our promise is simple. We want you to be happy with every item you purchase from Motherwear. If you’re not happy with something, please return it to us within 60 days for a refund of the purchase price or an exchange.

It’s easy to exchange or return an item. Simply follow these steps:
  1. To exchange an item, complete sections 1 through 4 on the bottom portion of your invoice. To return an item, only complete sections 1 and 2.
  2. Secure your merchandise in the original packaging, if available.
  3. Return the item(s) by mail or private carrier to:

If you are returning a gift, you can choose to receive either a Motherwear gift certificate or check (in the amount of items returned, less shipping) or an exchange for another item. Please specify on the invoice. For non-gift returns, returned items are credited to the credit card used for your original order. Then, (if applicable) a new exchange order is processed and billed to your credit card, (MINUS the US standard shipping cost).

Motherwear Clearance return policy
If you are unhappy with a Motherwear Clearance item, return it within 14 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping), or an exchange (subject to availability). The price at which you purchase is the only one we can honor. In order to return or exchange, simply fill out the return section of your invoice included with your order and return it to us with the item. We recommend that you insure your return package for safe delivery to Motherwear. We will process your return within 3 weeks (21 days) days of receiving it.

Q. What if I misplaced my invoice?
A. Write a note telling us how you want to handle the return. Let us know why you are returning the item. Specify the name and address to whom we should send your refund or exchange order. If it was a gift, include the purchaser’s name and address.

Q. What is your guarantee?
A. Our promise is simple. We want you to be happy with every item you purchase from Motherwear. If you’re not happy with something, please return it to us within 60 days for a refund of the purchase price or an exchange.

Q. Can I order the new item now and return the original item later for credit?
A. Yes, you may do this by calling 1-800-950-2500. While we will charge you for the cost of any new item, we will credit you for the cost of the original item when your return is processed.

Q. Am I responsible for the shipping cost on an exchange item?
A. For all exchange orders shipped within the U.S., we will waive the cost of standard shipping for the exchanged item. However, if you would like to upgrade your shipping method or purchase additional items, you are responsible for the cost of additional items and associated shipping charges. For exchange orders shipped outside the U.S. (including Canada), we will waive the cost of the U.S. standard shipping portion, you are responsible for balance of the shipping costs.

Q. Am I responsible for the shipping cost to get the returned item back to you?
A. Yes. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. Shipment of the exchange item is waived. We recommend you insure your return package for safe delivery to Motherwear.

Q. Do you ship back-ordered items to international destinations?
A. Due to rising international shipping costs and delays, we ship only complete orders to destinations outside the U.S. and Canada and are unable to ship back-ordered items for our international customers. Should your order include an item that is back-ordered, that item will be removed from your order, and the remainder of the order will be processed and shipped. Availability information can be obtained at this website, contacting us via email at customerservice@motherwear.com or by calling Customer Service at 1-413-536-3569. We would be happy to substitute an available item to your order, assuming it has not yet shipped, or to process another order for you. If a second order is processed, you are responsible for shipping costs on that order.
